The Zhaga consortium was founded in 2010 and hundreds of companies have joined the community since then. Zhaga publishes a series of book publications, which describe in detail the connection between LED luminaires and LED modules. (Zhaga Book 18)
The main purpose of Zhaga is to achieve full compatibility between control modules produced by different manufacturers, by ensuring that they can be replaced on the armature regardless of the brand.
The Zhaga Connect socket is a fully universal electromechanical interface for the physical mounting of RF communication or Sensor units, snap-in, twist-lock.
By providing +/- DC power supply to the control modules via the Zhaga socket, Communication - data transfer is provided by DALI one or two wire bus.
If the control module will not be used on the socket, it must be covered with an IP66 protection cap.
COMM Lighting In Cosmo and Noah Series Led Luminaires, optional ZHAGA socket connection is used.
Led luminaires are controlled remotely with the cells mounted on the Zhaga socket, with commands transmitted to the luminaire driver by a central software.The most suitable interface can be preferred according to the projects to be made between the central software and the Zhaga socket cell.
The most common interfaces are LoRAWAN, NBIoT, ZigBee ,WI-FI , and Bluetooth 4.0.
