With Solar Lighting Systems, Street, Street, Park and garden lighting projects are carried out by placing enough solar panels on an independent pole to meet the required energy needs.
Solar panels convert the sunlight coming from the atmosphere directly into DC electrical energy. Solar panels are produced in Monocrystalline or Polycrystalline, photovoltaic cell structures whose number of cells changes according to the total power they are produced. Photovoltaic cells are produced from semiconductor material. When sunlight is absorbed by these substances, electrons are separated from the atoms to which they are bound and are released in the substance and thus an electric current occurs. The energy obtained is regulated by regulators and stored in various types of batteries. This stored energy is used directly when DC energy is requested, and when AC energy is requested, it is converted to 220 Volts by means of DC / AC converter inverters (AC).
The performance of a solar cell is measured by its efficiency. It is the most important parameter that determines the efficiency that converts the percentage of energy it receives into usable electricity. However, light of certain wavelengths can be converted into electricity, the rest being absorbed or reflected by the substance that makes up the cell. Therefore, the efficiency of a typical solar cell today is between 12% and 20% according to the manufacturer, that is, it can convert only one-fifth of the energy it receives into electricity.
All solar panels are produced with an aluminum frame. Solar panels, which operate smoothly between -40ºC and + 85ºC, have special protection against corrosion and UV rays. With its anti-reflective special surface, maximum sunlight is absorbed and reflections are prevented. With serial and parallel connections, it is possible to obtain the desired DC voltage and current (12-24-36-48V DC). The energy obtained is regulated by means of regulators and stored in various types of batteries. Thus, ready-to-use energy is obtained at the desired time. In this system, batteries and charge regulator are kept in a panel. Dry, Gel or Deep Cycle type fully maintenance free batteries can be used according to the project content.
In lighting projects with Solar System, the operating voltage is usually designed as 12V or 24V.
All equipment used in the system varies according to the geographic and methorological conditions of the place where it will be installed. In the projects to be made, the desired lighting time (such as 8-10-12 hours) is provided without interruption, taking into account the Autonomy days, the number of cloudy days and the annual average sunbathing times in the regions where the systems will be installed.
The system feels day and night automatically through the solar panel. The settings are made once and the system automatically repeats this every day. The solar panels we use in our projects are of European origin and work with high efficiencies. 25 years of Power guarantees are available. The working life of the LED luminaire used is quite long. They give high intensity light and consume very low energy.
